Kew Gardens is a beautiful place to visit, sunny day made it even more special. Easter time was all about the chocolate and the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. On the normal day there are always plenty of attractions from visiting Palm House, Aquarium, Gallery of Botanical Art to climbing on the Xstrata Treetop Walkway, visiting Woodland Garden or Waterlily House.
This time Kew Gardens celebrated 50th birthday of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Whipple-Scrumptious activities. There was the Whipple-Scrumptious Plant Hunt; The Great Glass Elevator; The Television-Chocolate Room; The Nut Room; The Inventing Room and after long queue we get into The Chocolate Room, where we worked with a chef from the Roald Dahl Museum and we decorated our own chocolatey creation with own fantabulous name and packaging. What a great idea for Easter.
Kew Gardens also offers daily free walking tours or if you are tired you can take Kew’s land train!
